Herd Bulls
Our herd sire line up consists of bulls we have walking rights on and semen interests in. They represent proven genetics, structural soundness and elite phenotypes. As cooperators for Ludvigson Stock Farms, MT our bulls must be sound and structurally correct with added muscle and depth. Along with above average data. They must still produce females we can retain and offer to our customers as well.
LSF VVF First Class 4763M
First Class 4736M is the $50,000 high selling red bull of the ’26 Ludvigson “All American” Bull Sale, WY. He’s one of the most exciting and talked about bulls we’ve produced at VVF! He stacks the rare and valuable sires; LSF Identity on top of the $190,000 Complete 7000E. His MGD is our signature female, Feddes Lakina D6. He’s been a standout since a young age, just like his 111 MPPA donor dam, VETO Lakina 912K was. 4736M is bold sprung, heavy muscled and sound. His data is just as impressive as his phenotype, with all 3 indexes ranking in the 9% or better, including top 2% ProS. His 11 traits in the single digit percentiles include top 1% WW, YW and ADG (as of 5-25-26). ½ interest in his flush mate sister, VETO Lakina 924M sold as the top selling lot of the ’26 SERAA “Grass Time” Sale for $17,500 and a $35,000 valuation. Another flush mate sister is working in the donor program. A maternal brother, VETO Metrics is being used for natural service. LSF Ponderosa 5014N
Ponderosa 5014N was our $19,000 selection from the ’26 LSF “All American” Bull Sale, WY. He’s an eye appealing, thick, dark footed son of the rare and deceased Identity 0295H. He hails from the same cow family as our 119 MPPA donor, Crystal J1172 and her 107 MPPA daughter, VETO Crystal 207L. He’s just as impressive on paper as he is phenotypically with 8 traits in the single digit percentiles along with 6 top 1%, including GM, MB and REA. (as of 5/26)
LSF SRR EZ Factor 9056G
A top selling herd bull in the ’21 Ludvigson Dispersal. EZ is our go-to heifer and carcass specialist ranking in the top 11% GM, 3% MB, 17% CED and 5% BW (as of 5/25) He’s noted as being one of the “most phenotypically flawless X-Factor sons to date” in the Ludvigson semen catalog. EZ is sound, good footed and stamps his calves with the same attributes. Semen available.

1803J is the highly sought after $120,000 syndicated son of the famed $44,000 TBJR Della 502 now at Pieper’s, NE/JL Morris, GA. His daughters have the same maternal look and broodiness of 502, his sons are good footed with added performance. The first 1803J daughters calved in the spring of ’25 with outstanding mothering abilities and udders. With his data of top 19% or better for ProS, HB, GM, CED, BW, WW, YW, ADG, HPG, CEM, and CW (as of 5/25) he’ll continue being used at VVF for years to come. Executive is low birth weight, high carcass son of the rare and valuable LSF Night Calver 9921W. He’s moderate, long bodied and heavy muscled. His impressive data puts him in the top 1% ProS and CEM, including all 3 indexes in top 6% or better, 8 traits in single digits, and 11 in the top 29% or better (as of 5/25) His daughters are feminine with added thickness and length and sons have an extra punch of performance. VETO Justified
VETO Justified is the first natural calf of our herd bull producing donor, Flo Marie 1810. Justified stacks the rare and valuable Bieber bulls, Forefront and Hard Dive in an attractive, heavy muscled, good footed package. He stamps his calves with the same qualities and ranks in the top 25% or better for ProS, GM, ADG, MB, YG and FAT (as of 5/25) His first progeny were offered in the fall of ’24 with a featured open heifer in the MS Red, the second high selling bred heifer in the ’25 MS Red Angus Sale as well as the $16,000 record selling bull in the ’25 SERAA “Autumn Extravaganza” Bull and Female Sale, TN. 2 maternal brothers are being used for natural service at VVF, proving their dams herd bull producing ability.

A son of the rare and deceased $190,000 KJL/CLZB Complete 7000E, Keystone’s dam is our leading donor, Feddes Lakina D6. A flush mate brother was the $10,500 co-top seller of a past Ludvigson “Big Sky” Bull Sale. His first calves came in the fall of ’24 with mid 60# birth weights and added growth. A flush mate sister, VETO Lakina 912K has joined her dam and maternal sisters in the VVF donor program. Keystone has 12 traits in the top 33% or better (as of 5/25)

Nextgen 2407K is the $120,000 exclusive son of the rare and deceased, top 1% MB, 5L Genuine 195C. He has 5 traits in the single digit percentiles along with 10 in the top 37% or better (as of 5/25) He stamps his calves with his trademark thickness and big tops along with excellent feet. He comes from the great Dina cow family that produced the high selling Leachman bulls, Sharpshooter and Bullseye. Semen is currently only available to syndicate members at this time.

License is our newest herd sire and one we’re quite excited about. He stacks proven grandsires in HXC Charter and LSF President 8177F from a 103 MPPA dam coming from the productive Hazel cow family at Ludvigsons. The Hazel family also produced another VVF herd sire, Chief Executive 0365. The Hazel’s trace back to the renowned Rebelas family that produced the breed great Glacier bulls Logan, Marias, Chateau and Northern King. License has tremendous thickness along with ideal feet and legs. He has 7 traits in the single digit percentiles along with 12 in the top 25% or better. (as of 5/25) Semen is currently not on the open market at this time.
